After three years of continued success with instrument auctions, Tarisio has opened a new division devoted to Private Sales of fine instruments and bows outside of the typical auction arena.
In our private sales we are able utilize our large network of auction consignors to make instruments and bows available to our clients year round.
Our private sales department can function in two ways:
1)
by offering instruments and bows that we have on consignment designated for private, non-auction sales or
2)
by listening to your needs, your expectations and budget, we can draw from our large network of auction consignors and propose instruments for you to try.
The flexibility to try instruments outside of our scheduled biannual auctions can offer great advantages to discerning musicians: the instruments we offer privately have been adjusted to the highest standards and can conveniently be tried for longer periods of time.
There is no buyer's premium on private sales and because the source of instruments is the same as our regular auctions, prices tend to be significantly less than normal retail levels.
